This exotic lily blooms impressively from early summer through to autumn. Originally from the Americas, it is one of very few plants equally prized for its tropical foliage and its large red flowers. Each year it grows up to 1-1.5m, making it an ideal centrepiece.

This plant is able to cope very well during hot summers. With climate change and extreme weather, such as drought, increasingly likely, this plant will not only survive but thrive in hot, dry conditions.

Please note, this plant is coming to the end of its season. The foliage will die back over winter but will begin growing again next spring and you’ll have huge bronze leaves by summer.
