Apple tree ‘Rosette’

£55£55

“A delicious, sweet, pink-fleshed variety”

A lovely bright red apple with an unusual pink speckled ‘rosette’ pattern that penetrates deep into the flesh. The best flavoured pink fleshed apple available, light and sweet flavour with a hint of summer berries. Delicious eaten fresh and produces an attractive tasty apple juice! The tree is compact in habit which makes it ideal for the smallest of gardens. Very heavy cropping and is also easy to grow.

This plant is known for being extremely hardy. As climate change causes extreme temperature fluctuations, rest assured that this plant can survive temperatures as low as -15 celsius. It’s also a pollinating plant so once it begins to flower, it’ll provide food for pollinators, such as bees and butterflies.

About the product

Flowers will appear in March – April, and apples are ready to be harvested in August.

This tree’s rootstock is M27, meaning the tree will reach a final height of approximately 1.5m.

If you have no idea what the above sentence means, don’t worry! You don’t need to know anything about this to successfully grow this tree.

But, in case you’re interested, a rootstock is a set of different roots which are grafted onto a plant to control the vigour of the plant. This allows trees and bushes to be grown in a smaller space than if they were grown on their own roots, which is why we’ve chosen them for our fruit trees.
